Accounting Assistant/Administrative Assistant

 Location:  South San Francisco, CA
Work Status: Full-time position

We are looking for individuals with great administrative skills including some accounting and bookkeeping experience. Ideally, the successful candidates would possess the analytical ability to see the big picture as well as being able to pay attention to details

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accounting and Bookkeeping Responsibilities: 
    • sales invoicing processing and purchase order processing using QuickBooks 
    • bank deposit preparation 
    • payroll verification
    • other procedures as required 
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • answer phone calls and take sales orders 
    • maintain company files 
    • sort and distribute mail 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • B.S. or Masters of Accountancy, GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • OPT and intern credits may apply
  • Good documentation and verbal skills
  • Experience with accounting programs
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently, effectively, conscientiously and independently as needed
  • Punctual, professional, flexible and trustworthy
  • Positive, can-do and will-do attitude
